We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. i started painting digital around 2 years ago, and painting digital isn't that much different from painting tradition oil painting, you have a brush, and you push paints around. a fine art background or a strong fundamental knowledge on rendering will help tremendously. on the technical aspect this painting looks very much smugged and oily. you probably need some time to find a few brushes you that's easy to work with, and practice smooth rendering with boxes or such.. also be confident about using sharp edges in your paintings, so the result doesn't look blurry or washed. just my few thoughts on this..
