I just began with digital painting, and this is one of my first works. It's still unfinished but I think it looks so cool that I wanted to show it now.
i started painting digital around 2 years ago, and painting digital isn't that much different from painting tradition oil painting, you have a brush, and you push paints around. a fine art background or a strong fundamental knowledge on rendering will help tremendously. on the technical aspect this painting looks very much smugged and oily. you probably need some time to find a few brushes you that's easy to work with, and practice smooth rendering with boxes or such.. also be confident about using sharp edges in your paintings, so the result doesn't look blurry or washed. just my few thoughts on this..
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
